Hi + welcome. The idea here is to post and monitor trading over the year. As a private investor it is easy to delude yourself and rationalise or forget mistakes. This blog should make the evaluation process a little easier. The basic goals are to make money with the minimum of risk. I use multiple strategies + trading instruments including shares/ options (Buy + Write calls/puts) / CFDs and spread trading on the UK and USA markets. Most trading is via ordinary share trading. The time frame is mostly months to sometimes weeks. I aim to be diversified with the goal of reducing risk. Some capital may be employed in high risk positions but this is always a small element. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade and all the usual risk warnings apply! Happy trading.
